Animal Land Children’s Farm Wins at the 2026 Hume Business Awards! 🏆

A proud moment for our family farm in Diggers Rest!

We have some exciting news to share! Animal Land Children’s Farm has been named the Winner of the Visitor Economy and Tourism category at the 2026 Hume Business Awards!

The awards were held on Thursday 29th October, bringing together businesses from across the Hume region to celebrate their achievements and contributions to the local community.

For our team at Animal Land, this recognition means so much.

A Win for Our Farm and Community

Located in Diggers Rest, just outside Melbourne, Animal Land Children’s Farm is all about giving families the opportunity to experience real farm life.

From meeting our friendly farm animals and watching little ones discover something new, to welcoming schools and families for hands-on learning experiences, we love sharing a little piece of country life with our visitors.

Winning this award is a wonderful reminder of why we do what we do.

We're proud to be part of the Hume community and to contribute to the region's growing visitor economy by welcoming families, schools and tourists to our farm.

Thank You to Our Amazing Team

Behind every farm visit is a hardworking team who care for our animals, welcome our guests and keep everything running.

From early mornings feeding animals to helping children experience their first farm adventure, our team puts so much care into what they do.

This award belongs to every one of them.

We couldn't be prouder!

And a Big Thank You to You!

To every family who has visited, every school that has brought students along, and everyone who has supported Animal Land over the years, thank you!

Whether you've visited once or return regularly to see what's new on the farm, you are a big part of our story.

We would also like to thank Hume City Council for recognising and celebrating local businesses through the Hume Business Awards.

Come Celebrate With Us!

The best part about Animal Land is that there's always something happening on the farm.

If you haven't visited us before, we'd love to welcome you and your family for a day of fresh air, friendly animals and real farm experiences.

And to our regular visitors, we can't wait to see you again!
